Yesterday I had great opportunity to hear a lecture from world known Zen Buddhist roshi, anthropologist, ecologist, civil rights activist, hospice caregiver and the author of several books on Buddhism and spirituality. I see her as a person with great positive energy which is definitly required within her work. I just want to expose her clear attitude to euthanasy, one of the core issues in supporting dying people. She said: “Euthanasy is a deep personal matter” … which is in western society controlled by law turned away from people into benefit of pharmaceutical industry. It should be accepted in fatal disease but unfortunately is criminalized. I strongly agree on this.

This week I had opportunity to hear lectures about latest trends and discovery in neuroscience – multiple complex, schizophrenia, autism, Parkinson, … Nice to get an update in this field.

Google era economy demand quick-satisfy downgrade change in our value system. User experience is adopting to free information and services where value of a good is mixed more than ever. We are simply not used to repair broken toys / gadgets any more but we simply buy a new one. Kids are watching and may someday ask:

Shell we buy a new grandma when she died?

We are running out of resources. We need to recycle. Trees are dying. Michael Obama is first black president. Michael Jackson is biggest star. I am afraid of terrorists …
