Did you know there were 6.6 billion people and 3.3 billion cellphone subscribers in October 2007? 60% take mobile phone to bed every night.

I agree with Tomi saying: “I’ve been saying for a long time now, that mobile is to the internet, like TV was to radio, a far more compelling and soon-to-be dominating mass media platform.”

Internet business

If you blast your message out to anyone who will listen, aiming for a quick profit, the Internet won’t bring you any more business than standing on a street corner with a megaphone.
If your activities contribute to building long-term, trusting relationships with prospective clients and referral sources, you’ll get business on the web.

New stuff from Dog eat Dog

The film covers Michael Moore’s 62-city tour of the marginal states in America just before the 2004 elections in a bid to convince the US’s twentysomething slacker generation to get up off their arses and get down to the polling stations.
Michael Moore’s latest documentary feature “Slacker Uprising” will be available for free and for keeps online on 23rd September.

Three Big Problems
Nova Gorica gostila Kevina Mitnicka
Kevin Mitnick – nesporno računalniški genij. Heker. Pravzaprav etični heker. Danes zagotovo eden najboljših strokovnjakov na področju informacijske varnosti. Toda pred leti v samico zaprt kriminalec v enem najbolj varovanih ameriških zaporov …

E-bay, story and philosophy

Today I went to see a presentation by Neel Sundaresan, the director of eBay Research Labs and a distinguished research scientist. He held an interesting lecture beginning with an “Ultimate reject letter“.
Next, he expressed Ebay’s business standpoint in a very amusing way, with a funny example. His message was simple and clear – national philosophy doesn’t work in global economy.
