1. Bodite dosledni
To ste že slišali, vendar je to glavno in najpomembnejše pravilo glede tega, kako reči ne otrokom. Ne otrokom nič ne pomeni, če čez pet minut rečete ja. Če začnete besedičiti in popustite, da bi otrok nehal tarnati ali tečnariti, zamudite priložnost, da bi ga naučili pomena besede ne – in sebi v prihodnje olajšali življenje. Ko se vdate, mu pokažete, da je vašo odločitev lahko spremeniti. Ko boste naslednjič rekli ne, ne bo odnehal, dokler ne boste spet popustili.
